Yoshihiro Kilho Shin received an M.S. in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He was a professor at University of Hyogo and an adjunct faculty at Carnegie Mellon Information Network Institute. He also worked at Corporate Research Center of Fuji Xerox as principal researcher and was advisor of Hyogo Prefectural Police. Currently Kilho Shin holds position of a professor at Computer Centre, Gakushuin University, Tokyo, Japan. His research interests are: untraceable authentication, processes modeling and prediction as well as machine learning theory, with a focus on feature selection, kernels and similarity. Author or co-author of over 94 peer reviewed publications.
Goutam Chakraborty received his Ph.D. degree in 1993 from Tohoku University, Japan. Senior Member of the IEEE. Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Awareness Computing. He is currently a professor and the head of the Intelligent Informatics Laboratory, Department of Software and Information Science, Iwate Prefectural University, Japan and Distinguished Professor and Dean of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Mandapalle Institute of Technology and Science. His main research interests are soft computing and heuristic algorithms and their application to solving pattern recognition, prediction, scheduling, and optimization problems, including applications in wired and wireless networking problems. Author or co-author of over 350 peer reviewed publications.
Keun Ho Ryu received his Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from Yonsei University, South Korea, in 1988. He was with The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA, as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a Research Scientist, and the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, South Korea, as a Senior Researcher. Life Member of IEEE. He is currently a Professor with the Faculty of Information Technology, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, an Emeritus and the Endowed Chair Researcher with Chungbuk National University, South Korea, and also an Adjunct Professor with Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He is also an Honorary Doctorate of the National University of Mongolia. He has been not only the Leader of the Database and Bioinformatics Laboratory, South Korea, since 1986, but also the Co-Leader of the Research Group, Data Science Laboratory, Vietnam, since March 2019. He is also the former Vice-President of the Personalized Tumor Engineering Research Center. His research interests include databases, spatiotemporal databases, big data analysis, data mining, deep learning, biomedical informatics, and bioinformatics. Author or co-author of over 1000 peer reviewed publications in various journals and international conferences, in addition to authoring a number of books.
